A kit is a layout problem
A vape kit is several objects with different fragilities, device, pods or cartridges, charger, cable, manual, and the box's job is to give each one a place. The die-cut insert does the arranging: the device presents center-stage, accessories sit in their own wells below or beside it, and everything survives a courier without a rattle. The open-box view is the product photo made physical, and customers judge kit quality by it before touching the device.
Compliance built in, by market
Vape regulation is a patchwork: child-resistant packaging in many markets, nicotine warning panels at mandated sizes, batch and traceability codes, age statements. We build to your target market's strictest reading, CR sleeve mechanisms and locking tabs where required, warning zones reserved in the artwork template from day one. Single-device and cartridge formats are covered under vape pen boxes, and regulated cannabis markets under weed pen boxes.
Tiering the range
Starter kits run in printed folding cartons with board inserts, cost-efficient at retail volume. Flagship and gift-tier kits step up to rigid boxes with magnetic closures and EVA-lined wells, the instrument-case presentation the category's premium end expects. Matte black with spot gloss and foil remains the segment's visual language; interior printing in a brand accent color is the detail reviewers photograph.
Can one insert accommodate device color variants?
Yes, one structure serves all colorways; only the outer print changes per SKU. That keeps tooling flat as the range grows, and we hold the dies for reorders.
