Whatever you are filling, there is a pouch format for it. We make stand-up pouches, spouted pouches for liquids, and flat sachets, all printed to your artwork.

Barrier films protect food, supplements and cosmetics, and digital printing keeps short runs affordable.

Low minimums were the whole reason we tried them. 250 pouches to test a flavor, then 5,000 when it took off — same bag, same print, no drama.

The free dieline saved us. Our first supplier wanted $400 for structural work; here it came with the quote, and the sample folded perfectly first try.

Match the format to what you fill

Stand-up pouches (doypacks) are the default for anything sold on a shelf: the gusseted base keeps the bag upright and the front panel is a full billboard. Flat sachets suit single servings, samples and slim products that mail in an envelope. Spouted pouches carry liquids, sauces, baby food and refills, and three-side-seal bags cover everything that lies flat in a drawer.

If you are replacing a jar or a bottle, weigh the pouch seriously: it typically cuts packaging weight by 80 percent or more, which shows up directly in your shipping bill.

What the film layers do

A pouch is a laminate, and each layer has one job. The outer PET layer carries the print and gloss. A middle barrier layer, metallised film or aluminum foil, blocks oxygen, light and moisture; this is the layer that decides your shelf life. The inner polyethylene layer heat-seals and is the only layer that touches the product. For coffee, snacks and supplements you want the full barrier stack. For a bath salt or a hardware kit you can drop the barrier and save.

Kraft-look pouches deserve a note: the paper face is usually laminated to plastic film beneath. If genuine recyclability matters to your brand, ask us about mono-material PE builds, which trade a little barrier performance for a recycling stream that actually exists.

Closures and small features

Press-to-close zippers make the bag resealable and are worth it on anything consumed over days rather than at once. Tear notches let customers open the bag without scissors. Hang holes suit pegboard retail, and a one-way degassing valve is essential for fresh-roasted coffee, covered in detail on our coffee bag pages. Windows, matte varnish over gloss highlights and rounded corners all print and cut in the same run.

Ordering in practice

Digital printing has changed pouch economics: photo-quality runs from about 100 units, with no plate charges, and multiple designs can share one run at no extra setup. Send your dieline or just the artwork and fill weight, and we will spec the film, size the pouch to the fill, and ship a sealed sample before production.
