Popcorn Packaging
Popcorn boxes and bags for snacks and events.
Popcorn packaging has to resist butter and grease while looking the part at a counter. We print the classic stripe or your brand on grease-resistant stock.
Boxes, buckets, and bags all run from the same artwork.
- Grease-resistant board and bags
- Boxes, buckets and bags
- Full-color or classic stripe
- Single-serve to sharing sizes
“Our takeout boxes stopped leaking and started advertising. Grease-proof board plus one bold color on kraft — simple and it works.”
“Our cakes travel 40 minutes across town and arrive looking like they left the counter. The window boxes sell them before anyone opens the lid.”
Grease is the design constraint
Popcorn packaging fails in one specific way: butter soaking through and staining the print into a blotchy mess. Everything starts from grease-resistant board, coated so oil sits on the surface instead of wicking through it. Get that right and the classic red stripe or your full-color brand stays sharp from first scoop to empty box.
One artwork, three formats
Venues rarely need just one container. Boxes suit grab-and-go counters, open-top bags keep a fair or stadium line moving, and buckets carry sharing portions and refills. We run all three from the same artwork, so the brand reads consistent whether a customer buys the small or the family size. For dedicated bucket programs, sizes and reusable builds are covered on our custom popcorn buckets page.
Scale runs from a 32 oz single serve up to 170 oz sharing tubs. Tell us the venue's serving sizes and we match the lineup rather than forcing a standard set.
The venue billboard argument
A cinema lobby is one of the few places where customers voluntarily carry your print around for two hours. Film-branded boxes for premieres, event branding for festivals, or simply a bold house design all ride that exposure. Print runs support seasonal switches, and short digital runs make a one-weekend event design affordable.
Questions before ordering
Is the packaging food-safe? Yes, board and inks are food-contact rated, and the grease coating is part of the base spec, not an add-on.
Can I get the classic striped look? Yes, the red stripe is a stock design we can overprint with your logo, or we print a fully custom face.
What is the minimum? Digital runs start at a few hundred units per format, which suits independent cinemas and one-off events.
