Custom Popcorn Buckets
Printed popcorn buckets for cinemas and events.
A popcorn bucket is a moving billboard at a cinema or fair. Grease-resistant board holds the butter; full-color print carries the brand or the film.
A sturdier reusable build suits refill programs.
- Grease-resistant board
- Full-color or classic stripe
- Single to sharing tub sizes
- Reusable build option
“Our takeout boxes stopped leaking and started advertising. Grease-proof board plus one bold color on kraft — simple and it works.”
“The bracelet boxes with the foil logo changed how our pieces photograph. Customers post the box as much as the jewelry.”
The bucket that walks around the venue
For two hours, a popcorn bucket is the most visible object in a cinema, carried through the lobby, held at seat level, set on armrests in a room full of people with nothing else to look at. Event branding does not get placements like that often, which is why studios buy film-branded buckets for premieres and venues print their own the rest of the year.
Board, grease and structure
The bucket body is grease-resistant board, coated so butter stays off the print, rolled and seamed with a reinforced rim that keeps the mouth round under a one-handed grip. Full-color print wraps the entire surface with no dead zone at the seam. Sizes run from a 46 oz personal bucket to 130 oz and 170 oz sharing tubs, and the classic stripe is available as a stock design for venues that want the traditional look with their own mark overprinted.
For boxes and open-top bags in the same artwork, see the wider popcorn packaging page; most venues order the formats together.
Reusable builds and refill programs
A heavier laminated build turns the bucket into a season product: customers buy it once, get discounted refills, and carry your print back through the venue every visit. The reusable build costs several times the disposable one, and the refill economics still favor it for any venue with regulars. Collector designs, a film series, a sports season, add a reason to buy beyond the discount.
Minimums and timing
Disposable buckets run from about 500 units digitally; reusable builds quote per design. For film tie-ins, allow lead time for licensor artwork approval on top of production, which is usually about two weeks.
