Two truffles, properly presented
The mini chocolate box exists for occasions that need a gesture, not a gift: wedding favors, event place settings, hotel turndowns, thank-you tokens in a corporate mailer. One to four chocolates in a fitted box reads considered at a unit cost that survives multiplication by three hundred guests. That multiplication is the format's whole design brief, small, giftable, economical at volume.
Small box, real engineering
Minis still need the insert: a die-cut platform holding each piece in a well, so a truffle arrives as a truffle and not a smudge on the lid. Food-safe board throughout, with glassine or foil leaf where chocolate touches the box. Formats run from single-truffle cubes through two and four-piece rectangles, in tuck cartons, lift-off lids, drawer slides and pillow styles; ribbon, foil marks and pastel wraps finish them for the occasion.
For larger assortments the sizing steps into standard chocolate gift boxes; minis stop where an insert of four wells ends.
Favor logistics
Event orders are calendar work with hard counts. Boxes ship flat and assemble quickly, kitchen-table-friendly for DIY couples, and personalization is where the format shines: names, dates and monograms print or foil economically because the print area is tiny. A practical planner's note: order ten percent overage, favors get crushed, pocketed and miscounted at every event, and reprints of forty boxes cost disproportionately.
Do you fill the boxes?
No, we supply packaging; your chocolatier fills. We size wells to their piece spec, send one sample chocolate and the die follows it.
