Boxes that do their work in stacks
A file box is bought for one moment: the day it sits at the bottom of a five-high stack, full of paper, in month three. Paper is heavy, roughly 5 kg per full letter-size row, and cheap boxes bow, then lean, then collapse the stack. We build the walls and base doubled where load concentrates, so the box at the bottom holds its corners and the stack stays square.

Lids, handles and the label panel
Lift-off lids are the archive standard: they open flat on a desk and stack under load. Hinged lids suit active files consulted weekly. Die-cut handles come reinforced, a full box carried by unreinforced handle cutouts tears at the worst moment, and a recessed label panel keeps identification uniform across a wall of boxes, which matters when someone is hunting one file among two hundred boxes.

Print for brand or for system
Law firms, studios and clinics print file boxes for client-facing storage, where a wall of branded archive boxes reads as institutional order. Internal archives do better spending on a printed labeling system than on box graphics: color-coded panels by year or department turn retrieval from a search into a glance. Both routes run on the same structure, and pair with certificate folders and 3-prong folders for the document lifecycle before boxing.
What weight will one box hold?
Standard build: 10 to 12 kg working load with the stack rated five high. Heavier archive specs are available; tell us the format and the stacking height and we build to it.
