Certificate Folder
Padded folders that present a certificate or award.
A certificate deserves better than a plastic sleeve. A padded folder holds it flat behind corner mounts and presents it like the achievement it marks.
Foil-stamp the cover for a graduation, award, or corporate program.
- Padded cover with corner mounts
- Foil-stamped crest or logo
- Holds standard certificate sizes
- Ribbon or magnetic close
“The bracelet boxes with the foil logo changed how our pieces photograph. Customers post the box as much as the jewelry.”
“We wrap 600 bars a month in their kraft sleeves. Recyclable, on-brand, and cheaper than the plain boxes we started with.”
The document is the achievement; the folder is the ceremony
A diploma handed over in a plastic sleeve undercuts the moment it certifies. A padded folder does the opposite: the weight in the hand, the cover opening like a book, the certificate lying flat behind corner mounts. Institutions understand this instinctively, which is why the folder is standard at graduations, award programs, professional certifications and long-service ceremonies.
It also gets kept. Certificates end up framed or filed; the folder with the crest stays on a shelf, which makes the foil stamp on its cover unusually durable branding.
Construction
The cover is heavy board padded with foam under a leatherette, linen or printed-paper wrap, hinged like a book. Inside, four corner mounts (or a clear retention band) hold the certificate flat without adhesive touching the document, an important detail for anything printed on quality stock. Standard sizes hold letter and A4 certificates; landscape and portrait orientations are built to order, and double-sided folders present two documents, certificate plus transcript, in one open.
Foil stamping carries the crest or logo on the cover, gold and silver being the institutional defaults; blind embossing (no foil, just the impression) reads understated and modern.
Ordering for programs
Ceremony orders are calendar-driven, so work backward from the event: allow production plus a buffer for the proof cycle, and order overage, because programs grow and reprints of small top-ups cost disproportionately. Folders store flat and keep for years, so over-ordering is cheap insurance. Corporate programs often pair the folder with a stationery gift box for the full presentation set.
Can you match our existing folders?
Usually, yes. Send one; we match cover material, foil color and mount style so new stock sits seamlessly beside old.
