A die-cut sticker is cut all the way through to the shape of your art, so the outline follows the design instead of sitting in a square. That is what makes a logo or a mascot look like a finished product rather than a print on a rectangle.

The vinyl is laminated, so it takes water, sun, and a dishwasher on a bottle without the color fading.

  • Cut to any custom shape, the outline traces your artwork
  • Each sticker is an individual piece, not on a shared sheet

Labels that survive a fridge, an ice bath, and a farmers market summer. We tested four suppliers; these were the only ones that did not lift.

The cut is the whole point

Every sticker is printed the same way. What separates a die-cut sticker is the cut: the machine cuts through the vinyl and the backing together, following the outline of your design. Peel one off and you get a single piece shaped like the art, with no rectangle of spare vinyl around it.

That is why a die-cut logo reads as a product. There is no border to give away that it started life on a sheet.

Where die-cut wins

Reach for die-cut when the shape is the brand: a logo, a mascot, a custom icon that should stand on its own. It suits laptop and water-bottle stickers people choose one at a time, and any spot where a visible border would cheapen the look.

The trade-off is that each sticker is its own piece, so they are handled and applied one by one. If you want several designs to travel together on one backing, that is the kiss-cut job, and our die-cut vs kiss-cut guide lays the two side by side.

Built to survive

The vinyl is laminated, so the print sits under a clear protective layer. That is what lets a die-cut sticker take rain, sun, and a dishwasher cycle on a bottle without the ink fading or scratching off.

FAQ

Is a die-cut sticker waterproof?

Yes. Laminated vinyl handles water, UV, and normal outdoor wear, so it holds up on cars, bottles, and gear.

Can you cut any shape?

Any shape with a clean outline. Send the art and we build the dieline to trace it, down to fine detail.

What is the smallest order?

Low minimums, so a small first run is fine. For sticker packs and sheets, see kiss-cut stickers. Get a quote.
