Custom Packing Tape
Branded packing tape, including water-activated kraft tape, in your colors.
Custom tape is cheap branding that travels. Every box you seal carries your logo across the warehouse, the truck and the doorstep.
- BOPP (poly) and water-activated kraft tape
- Printed in 1-3 colors with your logo or pattern
- Water-activated tape seals tamper-evident and recyclable
- Standard 2 inch and 3 inch widths
Go with standard BOPP tape for everyday sealing or water-activated kraft tape for a tamper-evident, recyclable seal that bonds into the box.
“Proof in my inbox the next morning, boxes on my dock in twelve days, and a rep who answers on the first ring. That is the entire review.”
“We were burned by a supplier who ghosted after payment. These folks sent photos from the press run without being asked. Trust earned.”
Branding you were already paying for
Every parcel you send is sealed with something. Making that something carry your logo costs a few cents over plain tape, and it is the first branded thing a customer sees on the doorstep, before the box, before the product. For brands that ship in plain corrugated to save money, printed tape does most of what a printed box would have done at a twentieth of the cost.
BOPP or water-activated: pick by priority
Standard BOPP (polypropylene) tape works exactly like the tape you use now: same dispensers, same guns, printed in up to three colors along the roll. It is the low-friction choice, nothing about your packing process changes.
Water-activated tape (WAT) is kraft paper with a starch adhesive that a dispenser wets as it feeds. It bonds into the carton fiber rather than onto it, which does three things: the seal is tamper-evident because lifting it destroys the box surface, one strip seals what needed three passes of plastic tape, and the whole package stays curbside-recyclable, paper on paper. Fiberglass-reinforced WAT handles heavy cartons. The trade is the dispenser, a one-time bench purchase, and a day of the packing team grumbling before they prefer it.
Spec notes
Rolls come in 48 mm and 72 mm widths; wider tape squares heavier boxes faster. Print runs from one to three spot colors with a repeat along the roll length, logo, pattern or handling instructions. Fragile and this-way-up marks printed into the tape survive better than stickers, which is a cheap fix if your warehouse keeps forgetting the labels. Pair it with printed tissue inside and plain boxes outside, and the unboxing still lands as fully branded.
Minimums start at 36 rolls per design, which a small shop works through faster than expected; a roll seals roughly 90 to 120 average parcels.
