Cheesecake Box
A window box that holds a whole cheesecake safe.
A cheesecake is tall, soft, and easily marked, so the box needs height for toppings and a base that keeps it level. The window shows it off before opening.
- Window lid shows the cake
- Tall enough for toppings
- Base keeps it level
- Food-safe kraft or white
Food-safe board, kraft or white, printed to your bakery.
“Our cakes travel 40 minutes across town and arrive looking like they left the counter. The window boxes sell them before anyone opens the lid.”
“The magnetic boxes are the nicest thing about our subscription, and I say that as the person who makes the product. Zero damage across 3,000 shipments.”
Built around a fragile cylinder
A cheesecake is heavy, soft-sided and finished with toppings that must not touch anything. That combination defeats generic cake boxes: too shallow and the lid drags the topping, too loose and the cake slides on the drive home. Ours are sized to standard cheesecake diameters with headroom above the topping line, and the base panel is doubled so a dense cake stays level when the box is carried by one side, which customers always do.
A window in the lid does the selling; fog-resistant film keeps it clear in the fridge case.
The base is the whole game
Cheesecakes travel on their base, so the box floor takes the full load. We build a snug footprint, a few millimeters over the cake board, no more, because a cheesecake that can slide will, and a corner arrival ruins a centerpiece dessert. For slices, the wedge format with an insert lives on our dessert boxes page; for tall celebration builds and tiered work, large cake boxes carry the height.
Food-safe board throughout, white for a patisserie read or kraft for the farmers-market one, with grease resistance where crusts and butter meet board.
Bakery operations notes
Boxes fold from flat at the counter in seconds and store in a fraction of the space of pre-formed. Standard diameters cover 6 to 12 inch cakes with matching depth options for New York-height bakes. Print runs suit chains; independents often run plain boxes with a branded sticker seal, which also functions as tamper evidence for delivery orders.
Do you make boxes for mini cheesecakes?
Yes, multi-cavity insert boxes hold 4, 6 or 12 minis each in its own well, same logic as our cupcake boxes.
