Round Gift Box
A cylindrical gift box with a lid and ribbon.
A round box stands out on a shelf of squares, and the cylinder shape suits hampers, candles, and layered gifts. The lift-off lid and ribbon make it giftable as-is.

“The magnetic boxes are the nicest thing about our subscription, and I say that as the person who makes the product. Zero damage across 3,000 shipments.”
“The valve bags keep our roast fresh and the print quality is better than bags we paid twice as much for. Reorders take one email.”
Why the cylinder reads as a gift
Rectangles say product; rounds say occasion. Part of it is scarcity, a shelf of squares makes any cylinder the focal point, and part is association: hat boxes, luxury florals and celebration cakes trained customers to read the shape as special. For hampers, candle sets, layered gifts and anything presented rather than merely delivered, the round box does presentation work a square cannot.
The format's mechanical advantage is the lid: a deep telescoping ring that lifts with a gentle drag, the same controlled reveal as a fine two-piece box, in a shape that has no corners to bruise.
Construction and finishing
The wall is a rolled rigid board cylinder, wrapped inside and out; the base and lid disc are fitted and wrapped as one. Diameters run from small trinket rounds to 40 cm hamper drums. Finishes follow rigid-box convention: matte, linen and soft-touch wraps, foil stamping on the lid disc, and ribbon in two roles, a bow band around the drum, or a rope handle through riveted eyelets that turns the box into its own carrier.
Full-color printed wraps suit retail; a solid-color wrap with a foil mark is the classic luxury read.
Nesting sets and afterlife
Rounds nest. A graduated set of three or five stores inside itself, ships as one unit, and retails as a tiered gift set, a favorite for florists and confectioners. And round boxes get kept: they become storage on a dresser or a shelf, which is packaging that keeps working for the brand years after purchase. For flower-specific formats, including the waterproof-lined arrangements, see florist boxes.
Can the inside be lined in a contrast color?
Yes, interior wraps in a second color or print are a standard option and make the open box photograph well.
