Cotton, canvas or non-woven
Three materials cover most needs. Non-woven polypropylene is the cheapest and stiffest, the classic grocery-store reusable, good for high-volume giveaways. Cotton is soft, natural and takes a print beautifully, the retail and event pick. Canvas is the heavyweight, thick and durable, for a bag people actually keep and use for years.
Print to match the use
For a bold one- or two-color logo, screen print is cheapest and toughest. For a photographic or full-color design, full-color transfer or sublimation handles the detail. Match the method to the artwork, not the other way round, and the bag looks right and lasts.
