Cardboard Crayon Boxes
Printed cardboard crayon boxes with flip-top or tuck lids, sized to crayon counts.
The crayon box is a small design problem with a fixed answer: it has to hold a set number of crayons snugly, open easily for small hands, and print bright.
We make them in the standard counts with flip-top or tuck lids, in kid-safe board and full color.
- Sized to 8, 12, 16 and 24-crayon sets
- Flip-top lid or simple tuck close
- Kid-safe board and non-toxic inks
- Bright full-color print on every panel
“We were burned by a supplier who ghosted after payment. These folks sent photos from the press run without being asked. Trust earned.”
“We sent them a candle jar and a Pinterest board. Two weeks later we had rigid boxes that made a $28 candle feel like a $60 one. Our repeat rate went up and honestly the box is half the reason.”
Snug beats loose, every time
Crayons that rattle in an oversized box spill the moment a child tips it, and a half-empty-feeling box reads as short-changed at any age. Crayon boxes are sized to exact counts, 4, 8, 12, 16, 24 and up, against standard crayon dimensions, so the sticks pack shoulder to shoulder, the box feels satisfyingly full, and nothing falls out in a backpack. Fit is the entire quality signal in this category, and it costs nothing but attention at the die stage.
Flip-top or tuck
The flip-top with an attached lid is the classic school format: it reopens and recloses hundreds of times, survives a term of small hands, and the lid stays with the box. Tuck-end cartons cost less and suit single-use contexts, restaurant kids' packs, party favors, amenity kits, where the box's life is one sitting. Tiered inserts step larger counts so back rows present visibly, the detail that makes a 24-count open like a display.
Food-safe inks and board are standard, category habit, since these boxes live next to kids' meals and small mouths.
Who orders them
Restaurant chains pair 4-count boxes with kids' menus by the tens of thousands; party and event planners personalize small counts as favors, the same play as our pencil boxes; art brands run retail counts with full-color shelf-facing print; hotels brand amenity sets. Custom counts and triangular no-roll formats both run from standard tooling.
Can you supply the crayons too?
We supply the packaging; fillers and crayon suppliers handle the sticks. We size to the crayon spec your supplier confirms, standard and jumbo sticks differ enough to need their own dies.
