Apparel Bags For Shipping
Printed poly mailers for shipping apparel.
Soft goods don't need a box, and a poly mailer keeps postage low. The self-seal strip closes it; the tear-resistant film protects the garment.
Recycled and biodegradable films are available for brands cutting plastic.
- Lightweight, tear-resistant film
- Self-seal adhesive strip
- Recycled and biodegradable options
- Full-color print
“Low minimums were the whole reason we tried them. 250 pouches to test a flavor, then 5,000 when it took off — same bag, same print, no drama.”
“Mailers arrived in nine days with the inside print exactly as proofed. Our unboxing videos finally look like the brands we admire.”
The cheapest safe way to ship clothing
A T-shirt does not need corrugated walls. It needs a bag that keeps it dry, resists tearing on a conveyor, and costs as little as possible to post. An apparel mailer does all three: the co-extruded film weighs a few grams, so most garments ship at the minimum postage band, and the grey inner layer keeps contents private without a second wrap.
The math is why clothing brands standardize on them. Against a box, a mailer saves on the packaging itself, on dimensional-weight charges, and on bench time, since sealing is one peel-and-press motion.
Spec the film to the garment
For tees, leggings and folded knits, standard 2.5 mil film is plenty. Denim, jackets and anything with metal zips or studs wants 3 mil so hardware cannot punch through in a crowded courier bag. If garments ship folded with tissue, size the mailer about 4 cm larger than the folded stack each way; a drum-tight bag creases the fold lines into the fabric.
Returns are worth planning at order time. A dual-strip mailer carries a second adhesive band, so the customer reuses the same bag to send the item back. One SKU handles both directions of the journey.
Print and greener film
Flexo print covers the full face in your brand colors, and dark film with a single light ink is the most photographed look in the category. On sustainability, recycled-content film up to 100 percent PCR is the honest default recommendation; compostable cornstarch film exists but needs industrial composting most customers do not have. Whichever you choose, print the disposal instruction on the bag.
Common questions
Will a mailer protect a hoodie with a printed graphic? Yes. The film blocks moisture and scuffing; folding the garment print-side in is the only precaution needed.
Can I mix sizes in one order? Yes, and most brands run two: a small for single tees and a large for multi-item orders. Shared artwork keeps the plate cost single.
