A drip bag makes pour-over coffee anywhere: the ears hook over a mug and hot water does the rest. It's a growing format for sampling and travel.

The inner filter and outer sachet are both food-safe, printed full-color.

The valve bags keep our roast fresh and the print quality is better than bags we paid twice as much for. Reorders take one email.

Low minimums were the whole reason we tried them. 250 pouches to test a flavor, then 5,000 when it took off — same bag, same print, no drama.

Pour-over that travels in an envelope

A drip coffee bag is a single serving of ground coffee inside a filter that unfolds paper ears over any mug. Hot water goes through; pour-over comes out. No machine, no press, no equipment beyond a kettle, which is why the format owns hotel rooms, offices, camping kits and coffee-brand sampling in Japan and Korea, and is growing fast everywhere else.

For a roaster, it is the lowest-friction way to put your actual coffee in a new customer's mouth.

Two layers, two jobs

The inner filter holds 10 to 15 grams of grounds and does the brewing; it is food-safe non-woven mesh shaped to sit inside the mug rim on fold-out ears. The outer sachet does the preserving: a nitrogen-flushed barrier envelope that keeps pre-ground coffee, which stales in days when exposed, fresh for months until torn open. Both surfaces print, and the outer sachet is the branding canvas: full color, front and back.

Freshness honesty matters in this format. Ground coffee in a poor sachet is stale by the time it brews; the barrier spec is not the place to save money, the same logic as our ground coffee bags.

Formats for roasters

Singles drop into parcels as samples; boxed sets of 5 to 10 retail alongside your 12 oz bags as the travel SKU; bulk cases serve hotels and offices. Filling is the operational question, drip bags need specific equipment, and we can advise on co-packers if you do not fill in-house.

How much coffee per bag, and what grind?

10 to 12 g is standard for a 200 ml pour; medium-fine grind. Print brewing guidance on the sachet back, it measurably improves the cup your first-time customer makes.
