Burlap Coffee Bags
Rustic burlap sacks for bulk coffee and display.
Burlap is the look of green coffee: rustic, breathable, and unmistakably artisanal. A food-safe liner keeps roasted beans fresh inside the jute.
Stencil or print the sack for a roastery or a display piece.
- Natural jute burlap
- Food-safe liner inside
- Stenciled or printed
- Bulk and display sizes
“Low minimums were the whole reason we tried them. 250 pouches to test a flavor, then 5,000 when it took off — same bag, same print, no drama.”
“The valve bags keep our roast fresh and the print quality is better than bags we paid twice as much for. Reorders take one email.”
Borrowed from the green-bean trade
Jute sacks are how green coffee actually crosses the ocean, which is why burlap signals coffee authenticity like nothing else. A roastery that uses burlap for retail, display or bulk supply is borrowing the supply chain's own iconography. The texture reads craft from across a room, and the material is natural fiber, biodegradable and reusable, which suits the sustainability story most roasters want to tell.
The liner does the freshness
Here is the honest physics: burlap breathes, and roasted coffee dies on air. Raw jute alone is fine for green beans and for display, but roasted beans need a barrier, so our roasted-coffee builds carry a food-safe liner inside the jute, a sealed inner bag that does the freshness work while the burlap does the look. For serious shelf life, the liner spec matches our ground coffee bags; for cafe-supply volumes the 5 lb bag with a burlap outer is a popular combination.
Skip the liner only when the sack is decorative or holding green beans.
Print, stencil and formats
Screen printing lays clean single-color artwork on the weave; the classic stenciled-crate look is a deliberate style we reproduce with coarse-registration printing. Multi-color runs work within the limits of a textured surface, bold marks yes, fine photographic detail no. Formats run from retail 250 g and 1 kg gift sacks with drawstrings up to full-size 60 kg-style display sacks for shop dressing and events.
Are the sacks reusable?
Very, and customers do: plant covers, storage, market bags. A printed jute sack circulating with your mark on it is the kind of afterlife most packaging never gets.
